When Dr. Wacasey graduated from medical school in 1994, he took an oath to do no harm to his patients. And to him, that includes doing no financial harm to his patients.
Dr. Wacasey is passionate about busting what he calls “The Big Myth of Health Care,” which is the belief that health care is so costly that one must use health insurance, in order to be able to access health care.
As a practicing physician who knows what health care really costs, Dr. Wacasey understands that that idea is simply not true. And he has made it his mission to educate others about how they can save money on health insurance, as well as health care.
Dr. Wacasey is the author of two books: The Guide to Buying Health Insurance, and Health Care, and HEALTHCAREONOMICS: 1,000 Crazy Ways American Health insurance Controls America’s Health Care. Both books are available for purchase or download through Amazon, iTunes, and Nook.
